Interior storage
The first thing you will notice when entering this rig is the open airy feeling. Despite this openness, I do not feel like you are short on storage. We have split the storage along side of the bed in half. So we each get one closet, the drawer underneath and half of the upper cabinets. This has been more than adequate for what we need for our travels. There’s also the front cabinet that you could put your coats.
Slide out trays, while a little stiff and hard to roll. Are nice for storing your food. Cabinets above the sink are very deep and allow a ton of storage as well. We have been storing our food in the upper deep cabinet as well as that slide out tray area. This has been more than enough for us so far.
Silverware tray and drawer and worked well for those items as well. And our dishes are kept in the cabinet above that. All this seems to flow well.
Size of the bathroom cabinet above the toilet has been very roomy, allowing for bedding, as well as towels and extra blankets to be easily stored in addition to our toiletries.
The toilet paper storage is awkward with the tight corners in the bathroom. We have just been leaving it on the shelf under the sink and that works just fine. It’s not really the kind of rig that is set up for a dispenser out in the open.
The medicine cabinet offers lots of storage for your bathroom items as well
The cabinets above the sofa are a little tight for getting containers into. We have been using a rectangular storage container from IKEA that fits in there pretty well but the hinges do get in the way in a couple of areas so you have to put it in in a certain spot then just slide it over to where you want it. At the end of the world just something you have to pay attention to.
The two ottomans that we purchased have allowed for additional storage for things like blankets and games. The blanket storage is nice as these tend to get very bulky when stored in other areas.Andre easily accessible in the ottoman.
There is storage underneath the bed with a hydraulic lift. This storage is not connected to the outside storage. Could be a good place to put extra shoes or items you want to be able to easily access but not have in the open.
One thing you need to add is a paper towel holder. There is not a designated holder when you purchase the rig. I have seen people put it near the stove, under the sink or under the upper cabinet. We have just kept it under the sink so far.
So far, the longest we have gone has been about two weeks and we have not struggled with space. But also of note is we have not had cold weather so have not had bulky winter clothes and coats to deal with either.
Laundry? We have always used a hamper that we store in the shower and have done that with this rig as well. But another option could be keeping a laundry basket in the storage space underneath the bed.
Shoe storage? There is a small open very deep storage area near the entry that shoes can be slid into. We usually use a large bin to store our shoes in and keep it underneath the camper when it set up. Keeping it under the camper has always kept it dry. And keeping it near the door has always kept to accessible. The storage near the front entry is OK but easy to lose your shoes in there as it is so deep. Aside from that cubby area there’s not an easy place to put your shoes as they seem to be in the way if you leave them at the entry.
